Career path at GVE: I grew up on a farm located south of Plum Coulee. Worked part time washing combines for Big Red a Massey Ferguson Dealer at the time. I started a sales career selling/distributing Elmer’s row Crop Equipment for Big Red in 1986. Joined Kehler Farms Ltd. as a partner in 1988 and worked the summer months. Due to severe drought I left the farm and returned to Big Red in the late fall. Ken and I remained partners in Kehler farms Ltd. thru 1992 however I did not return to work on the farm. I started a joint sales career with GVE in 1989 selling the long green line of John Deere, as well as continuing to distribute Elmer’s equipment nationwide. I ended my joint sales role at Big Red/Elmer’s in 1992 and focused solely on GVE. I Purchased shares in GVE from my uncle Glen Kehler in 1996 and 2012 and from my father in 2000 and 2013.
